Transport information must agree with the business document.
The e-way bill workflow combines relevant transaction information with the details of goods movement. Customer, destination, quantities and transport details must describe the same movement; a correct invoice total alone is not enough to establish that consistency.
Review the source document and the supported transport fields, submit through the configured connection and inspect the returned status. Keep the resulting reference available with the dispatch records. If transport details change, follow the supported update process rather than editing an unrelated invoice field.

Does saving the invoice automatically mean the e-way bill is ready?
No. Check the actual generation status and returned reference. Missing transport data, service availability or a rejected submission can leave the invoice saved while the movement-document workflow remains incomplete.
What setup should I confirm?
Confirm current applicability with your accountant; a button click alone does not prove successful generation.
